Junior Firefighter Jeff Walsh Jr. was recognized for his life saving efforts at the Borough of Ringwood Mayor and Council meeting held on July 14, 2015. Jeff Walsh Jr. was on duty as a lifeguard on June 24, 2015 at the Skyline Lake Main Beach when a 12-year-old girl began to drown but was saved by Jeff and two other lifeguards.
