![""]("https://uploads.allhandsws.com/misc/39/images/1959765_572194469542715_1673349818_n.jpg") | SLFD was in attendance this evening at the Borough of Oakland Council Meeting recognizing Pompton Lakes Police 911 Dispatcher Mike Finello and members of the Oakland and Franklin Lakes Fire Departments, Oakland Police Department as well as the Oakland First Aid Squad for their successful rescue of a person who fell through the ice in Ramapo Lake back in January 2014. Ringwood Fire Departments and the Ringwood Ambulance Corps were requested to the scene to assist that day. Excellent teamwork by all lead to the successful rescue of the victim that day and we appreciate and recognize the efforts of all who were on scene.
