Skyline Lakes Fire Department

On March 3rd, 2006 the Erskine and Skyline Lakes Fire Departments were dispatched to the area behind 367 Cupsaw Drive on the report of a deer that had wandered onto Cupsaw Lake and had fallen through the ice. By the fire departments arrived, the deer was so exhausted that it put up little resistance and was removed with no problems. The animal was checked out by animal control and taken away for further evaluation. the deer is expected to make a full recovery and was released back to nature.
