The Skyline Lakes Fire Department mourns the loss of Lt. Michael Moore of the Pompton Lakes Fire Department. While being only 27, his life affected many Firefighters and residents not only of the Borough of Pompton Lakes, but many other communities through out North Jersey. Standing a little over 6 feet tall, Mike was a big guy with a heart twice the size of himself doing whatever he could to help people without ever even being asked. On March 8th, 2006 Michael was laid to rest and in attendance was nearly 1,000 of his friends and family. He we surely be missed by all. our thoughts and prayers are with Michael's friends and family and as well as our brother Firefighters of Pompton Lakes Fire Department.
