In the beginning of December 2006, the Skyline Lake Fire Department is expecting to get delivery of our new engine 252. It is a 2006 Pierce Arrow XT. It will be a mirror engine to our current Engine 251. The new Engine 252 will have some new new features like a internal Foam Tank, and a 35 foot hydraulic ladder rack.

On November 6,7,and 8, 2006 6 members from the department traveled to the Pierce Production Plant in Appleton, Wisconsin to do a final inspection on the new engine before it gets delivered to the department. All of the members on the trip were extremely impressed with the way that the Company presented themselves as well as the fine workmanship that went into creating our new engine. We look foreword to its delivery around the 5th of December, 2006.
