Skyline Lakes Fire Department

On April 11, 2006 all Ringwood Fire Departments were alerted to a hazardous material spill on West Circle that was advancing into Cupsaw Lake. All fire companies worked to contain the spill by putting booms across the lake to attempt to contain the spill to the affected area. The point of origin was found to be a house on Kendal Dr. Fire companies worked to contain the spill along with the Passaic County Hazmat Team, Passaic County Sheriffs Department, and the Passaic County Prosecutors Office and the Ringwood Police Department.
